Be part of it

Our events and workshops mix social fun with learning. Whether you’re here to pick up new skills or just to hang out with others, we’ve got something for everyone. It’s all about connecting, sharing ideas, and making a difference together.

Woolshed Workshops

WWCC enjoyed the conversation and engagement from sub-catchment community members at the March Woolshed Workshops. We will be holding more workshops for the rest of the catchment in May.

We will be discussing the 12 months water quality outcomes, eDNA results, mapping resources and funding and research opportunities.

But the most important part will be your local knowledge, experience, and ideas that will play a key role in shaping what happens next across the catchment.

Watch this space for further details.

You will have the opportunity to bring your membership up to date on the day.

Water Quality Monitoring

Various locations throughout our catchment

A freshwater ecologist from Beca, alongside our Water team, carries out monthly sampling at each of the nine main waterways in the catchment. This ongoing work builds a picture of water quality over time, helping our community learn more about what’s in our local water.

We welcome anyone who is interested to come along to these monthly monitoring sessions. Please contact Alex Parrott, Greg Boyd or Jimmy Glenn for times and sites.
