Pest Control Community day
Wednesday 25th June, two sessions:
Nikau Cafe, Waikaretu, 9–11am
Te Akau Complex, 1–3pmJoin wildlife experts Cam Speedy and Jason Day as they share the results from our recent pest audits in the Waimai and Waikaretu lines.
They’ll unpack what’s been found and give practical advice for pest control on your farm or lifestyle block. Plus, get a hands-on look at proven traps like the AT220, DOC250, and more with David Crimp from NZ Autotraps.

Te Akau Waingaro Community ComplexJoin us for a hands-on environmental day with Waikato Regional Council and Enviroschools. Open to all! These days will include tamariki from local Schools.
Learn about the ideal growing conditions for various native species. Identify native trees in English, te reo Māori, and by their scientific names. Come plant the seeds of knowledge—and the trees of tomorrow! -
